Membership in the North Star Museum is a way to help us preserve the values and traditions of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting for generations to come. Your support of our important work is key to our continued success in preserving and celebrating YOUR Scouting memories. Scouting is a part of your cultural inheritance and it is worth saving.

The North Star Museum of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting is a non-profit organization that is supported by loyal members and committed volunteers. When you join the North Star Museum as a member you are more than just a supporter – you are a member of the family!

The North Star Museum has experienced unprecedented growth in the past two years. We are a true destination for Scouts, families and our whole community. Our innovative programs enable us to be a resource for learning, leadership and fun!

Your membership helps preserve the history of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting through:

- Updated displays to invite interaction for all age levels

- Building improvements that enhance your experience when you visit us

Your membership helps provide programming to youth and families through:

- Tours

- Service projects

- Outreach projects, bringing exhibits and programminig out to our community

- Troop and service unit programming like merit badge workshops, Overnight at the Museum, Girl Scout Way Journeys, group meetings, Pinewood Derby Races, and more

- Receive a 10% discount at the Museum gift shop

- Advance notice of all museum programs

- Invitations to special "members only" events

- Receive a 20% discount for group meetings held at the Museum

- Receive a 20% discount on select museum programs, such as Overnight at the Museum, Pause That Refreshes, Pinewood Derby, and facility rental for personal celebrations and ceremonies, such as courts of honor, bridging ceremonies, etc.
