The North Star Museum of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting is operated by North Star Scouting Memorabilia, Inc. In the past 28 years our collections have grown to over 150,000 items. The artifacts come from across the world, cover the period from 1908 to the present and include items from Boy Scouting, Girl Scouting and Girl Guides.

North Star Memorabilia is pleased to announce the hiring of our new Executive Director. Claudia Nicholson started in her new position on Friday, February 25, 2005. She was hired by the Board after a national search and extensive interviews with several candidates. She succeeds Richard Carroll as executive director and is a full-time employee of North Star. The other great news is that the Museum has finally found a new, permanent home. After a five year search, the Museum was able to purchase the former North St. Paul Library building from Ramsey County. We should close on the building in the near future and occupy the building in the next few months. This will be a great location where we can display our collection.
