North Star Museum at the 2003 Minnesota State Fair
North Star again had a booth in the Education Building at the Minnesota State Fair. In addition to displays and providing information about Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting, our volunteers passed out over 10,000 trading cards to youth visitors. Visitors from as far away as Northern Ireland and Switzerland signed our guest books. In addition to the Adult Guest Book, we also had a book for signatures from Eagle Scouts and Girl Scouts who earned the Gold Award. In all, over 400 people signed the guest books. Our volunteers also collected 110 requests for information on how to join Scouting. Thanks to all of the over 60 volunteers who staffed the booth. A special thanks to Terri Anderson for doing most of the prep work to recruit and schedule the volunteers. Dick Carroll designed the booth.
